2 Night Getaway Program

A 2 Night Getaway for parents of special needs children served by the San Diego Regional Center (SDRC) is being offered by North County Special Needs Community Foundation.

Through the generous support of Grand Pacific Resorts in Carlsbad, California selected parents will enjoy Luxury Resort accommodations in San Diego County with one bedroom, one bath, living room and dining area and receive a Special Welcome package and dining gift certificate.

In coordination with the Director of the Case Management Services Department, two deserving candidates will be selected from the Carmel Mountain offices, two from the Carlsbad offices, and two from Camp Pendleton. There will be a total of six, 2 Night Getaways . This program had a successful beginning in January of 2022 and has continued in 2023.

With the selection process being done with the assistance of SDRC, it is felt that, while all regional center families are deserving, particular circumstances and situations for families will be screened and brought to the attention of the Foundation in its efforts to support the North County Special Needs community.
